No king but Caesar…?

John 19:15-16 NKJV
But they cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar!” Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus and led Him away.

This is what the world is doing right now. It rejects Jesus as King and willingly and, in vehement opposition, eagerly agrees to submit to the enemy. Only those whose eyes have been opened by the Holy Spirit can see who Jesus really is.

Compare this spiritual blindness to the physical blindness of the man whom Jesus healed…

John 9:1-5 NKJV
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

And He told his followers…

Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

When Jesus raptures his Bride, the light will be gone. While we still have a window of opportunity, pray for those you know who aren’t yet saved! Share Jesus where you can and tell people what He has done for YOU! Do not hide your light under a basket! Your testimony is powerful and time is short..!
